The XBOX 360 can output at 1080p, so you're fine. 720p looks much btteer then 1080i. Whoever you were talking to at the shops had no idea what they were talking about. You won't notice a difference between 1080p and 720p on a TV that small, but set it to 1080p just because you can. By the way, almost all XBOX 360 games are native in 720p meaning that if you don't have a 1080p TV that is the resolution they look best at.
