| Got me a Jasper. Runs quiet yet still audible and runs cooler but still warm. Hope it stays together. Remember go to stores where they have the boxes in the open so you can check them. Its been a while since it was manufactured so there should be plenty out there. |

Jasper has not been found anywhere, so if you have one, you have the first. Therefore, we'll need some form of proof that you've got one. Kill-a-watt power measurements and pics of the box, including through the vents would help. The only true proof would be pics of the motherboard.
The info on Engadget and other sites with regards to 0831 and newer being Jasper is flat out wrong, with this site being the source of that wrong information.
If you're assuming based on manufacture date that you have one, you're probably wrong. If you have other reason to believe this is Jasper, I'd love to know more. 0839 could very well be it, if you really have one. |

| Damn, guess I don't have one. The power brick says 175 Watts, though it might be left over from falcons but I guess it's not a Jasper. At least it's quiet. |
