I really hit the jackpot-got a Falcon (assuming the capacitor thing is really an indication) AND a BenQ drive.
It is noticeably quieter than my previous 3 systems, but still much louder than the other consoles. I'd still like it quieter, though hopefully this won't bother me AS much.
I noticed that the power supply-while the same size-is lighter than my old ones. Maybe half the weight. It also only has two prongs rather than 3. I suspect it doesn't output as much power (even though the label still claims 203 watts).
I wonder if the new lighter PSU is exclusive to the Falcons? That *might* be another way to tell which it is. |
