Xbox 360 Pack
Select the Xbox 360 Gaming pack that you have purchased. It's either the basic core edition or the fullfledge premium edition.

Specify if special pack
If you have bought one of the limited special packs, enter the description of the package in this field.

Video mode
Every gaming console is a part of a video region, the major standards are PAL, NTSC, and SECAM. Look at this picture to find your region. Also take a look at the howto for more information.

Manufacturer date
This is the date on which the Xbox machine as produced and packed. Look at the back of the unit itself to find the manufacturer date. The date format is YYYY-MM-DD.



Lot number
The lot number is printed on the left side of the Xbox 360 paper box. It's next to the bar scan codes.





Team number
You can find this number next the the bar scan codes, close to the lot number as mentioned above. Normally either FDOU, WZHO, CSON or TMEM.



DVD Drive
This is the most interesting parameter, it's the model of the DVD-ROM drive installed in your Xbox 360. You can find the model by looking at the tray.

Firmware
The software that controls the DVD drive is called the firmware. The version of this peice of software is usually printed on top of the drive itself and requires you to open the case.
Some of the available firmware versions for Hitachi-LG include 46DH, 47DG, 47DJ, 59DJ, 78FK, 79FK and 79FL. For Tostiba-Samsung drives MS25 and MS28.



Motherboard model
Microsoft regularly makes new revisions of the motherboard to fix faults, make it more efficient, and lower the manufacture costs. There are, as of August 2008, four revisions, each has its own codename. Look at the pictures below to determine your board revision. See the full details here and in the howto guide.

The power connector on the back of the console can reveal which motherboard you have by comparing the details shown in the picture below.

HDMI Output
Microsoft introduced the digital HDMI audio/video connector on the new Xbox 360 Elite Editons. In August new Xbox 360 Premium machines also started to pop up with the HDMI connector, manufacturered 3th July 2007 and later. See the backside of the console.



Fan model
The fan type can be used to predict how much fan noise the machine will generate when the fans begin to rev-up.
  • Delta - Black/White/Silver label
  • Sunon - Green/White label
  • Nidec - Black label
Delta and Sunons is known to generate noise, while the Nidec fans are somewhat quieter.

Country
Specify what country you bought the Xbox 360. This is usually where you live.

Purchase shop name
Enter the shop name or gaming store where you bought the Xbox 360. This will help others to go after you and pick up identical systems as yours.

Purchase date
Select the date when you purchased the Xbox 360. This will help other people to figure out if the model you own is still in stock where you bought it.
