Right around when the first firmware hack came out for the Xbox 360 I saw a surge in the number of forum threads and news posts asking and trying to answer what Xbox 360 package would give them a Hitachi-LG or Toshiba-Samsung drive. This site will hopefully make it easier for you to find a new Xbox 360 with a DVD-ROM drive model that you want. The list is generated by user submissions and I encourage you to do the same. You can not expect that any of the information you find on this site to be accurate, or lead you to a Xbox 360 pack with the approriate drive. This is stictly a site to help organize the data available.

To get the site up and running was unbelivably easy because I had polished the back-end code for years and it was quite easy to migrate the codebase to the new database structure. The total time it took to sketch the database structure to a complete site was less than 8 hours. I think thats pretty cool.
